From a young age I always had an interest in fitness but never took it seriously or put a great deal of effort into it. It wasn’t until I was in university where I found fitness helped me not only physically but mentally too. My interest grew deeper and I wanted to develop my technique, essentially to actually understand the human anatomy and bio-mechanics, and the effectiveness of certain movements. For me, it’s not about the hours you put in and fitness should certainly not take over your life; it’s about training smart and having enjoying it.
